So just who are the Krew @ Overkill Klothing?
We're only small (as in a few) so we all pretty much do each others jobs here as no one is really the boss which means, anyone can help you.
So just who are the Krew. Well here's a few of us.......
Brad Lawson - Founder, General Manager, Office Boy, Production Manager, Web Manager, Part Time Designer, Cleaner and pretty much anything else that needs doing.
Managing Director and founder of Overkill Klothing. Brad actually has an extensive background across various mediums of publishing, a vast experiance in promotions and marketing and more recently had this hairbrain idea of thinking thought Overkill Klothing might be good to have as a hobby. It's seemed to have grown beyong that now. So we are going full steam ahead and putting it all on the line. Much thanks goes to those listed below how all form an important part of the team and Overkill's growth.
Dan Kendall - Sales, Manager - Bands, Musicians
Ivan Dragostinov - Art and Design
Born in Bulgaria, Grown up in South Africa, and now living in Australia, studying full-time Mechatronical Engineering (Robotics) at UNSW whilst also working as a DJ, an I.T. Systems Engineer and in a science shop part-time,.
As you can see Ivan likes to keep busy but always have time to go for a surf or get trashed in the city and wake up in a park, usually with clothes on.
In Ivans words.......
......Mastika is the name of a potent Bulgarian drink which makes you do crazy things (Causes loss of memory and wondering whether to believe people's recounts of the night before), But I am not intoxicated while I draw, must be sharp and clear headed, dubstep, deep house or old-school trance is usually cranked up in the background.
My artwork is abit like me; It follows no rules, no previous designs and is random yet structured. It's all done with simply a cheap pen a sheet of paper, and months of complex descisions, helps getting everything else off my mind.
Every line is placed in a particular place due to ts relation with the other lines, shapes and flows around it, making sure not to disrupt the overall balance of the drawing, and ofcoarse keeping sight of the hidden symbols within...
